Marie Hunt Raynham, MA Murder-Suicide: Mom of three and partner Mark Henshaw died in murder-suicide

Raynham, MA: Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn III has confirmed that two adults were found dead Friday in an apparent double shooting at a home in Raynham.

Raynham police responded to 134 Elm Street West at around noon after receiving a 911 call. Upon arrival, officers found no signs of forced entry. Inside the residence, they located two minor children who were unharmed.

Police then forced entry into a locked second-floor bedroom, where they discovered the bodies of Mark Henshaw, 35, and Marie Hunt, 37. Henshaw was found on the bed with an apparent gunshot wound to the head, while Hunt had a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Both were pronounced dead at the scene by EMS at approximately 12:39 p.m.

Authorities say both victims lived in the home. Hunt, originally from Raynham, was a mother of three who worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and was previously employed as a mental health worker for the state.

The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by the Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, along with Raynham Police Officials have not yet released further details on the circumstances of the shooting.
