The New York City community is mourning the tragic loss of 45-year-old Roberto Cuevas, who was fatally shot Saturday night in Brooklyn.
According to the NYPD, officers responded to reports of a shooting around 9:11 p.m. near 57th Street and 4th Avenue. Upon arrival, they found Cuevas with a gunshot wound to his back. Despite emergency efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say the shooting occurred during a block party after a dispute between Cuevas and the suspect. No arrests have been made at this time, and authorities are actively working to identify and locate the shooter.
