Delaware State Police have released the identities of the three family members who died in a murder-suicide last week in the High Point Park mobile home community near Frederica.

Eighteen-year-old Ethan Christensen and 81-year-old Linda Hyman were fatally shot on August 6 inside a residence on Lorna Drive. Investigators have identified 53-year-old Staci Marie Christensen as the shooter, stating that she took her own life after killing the two victims.

While police have not detailed the exact relationships between those involved, a GoFundMe created by Staci’s surviving children indicates that Ethan was her son and Hyman was his grandmother.

Troopers responded to the home around 11 p.m. on August 6 for a welfare check, where they found all three deceased. The circumstances leading to the welfare check and the possible motive behind the tragedy have not been disclosed.
