A tragic incident on Spencer Street Thursday evening has left a woman dead and a man in critical condition. The victim has been identified as Abby Perez.

According to Rochester Police, officers arrived at the scene around 9:30 p.m. following reports of an altercation. Preliminary investigations indicate that Perez was stabbed during an argument with a man, who was subsequently shot by a third party.

Both individuals were transported to the hospital. Perez was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, while the man remains in critical condition.
