Isaiah Lee Obituary, Death; – Authorities have identified a man who was fatally shot over the weekend in Columbia.

The Columbia Police Department reported that officers arrived at the 900 block of Vista Towers Drive at 1 p.m. The victim was transported to a hospital, but his death was confirmed by police around 8:30 p.m.

Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford subsequently identified the deceased as 40-year-old Isaiah Lee, a resident of Columbia.

The CPD also stated that 18-year-old Kai E. Murray was apprehended at the scene and subsequently charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. Additionally, police indicated that Murray was related to Lee.

An investigation is currently underway.
