Jamyrion Hobbs Obituary, Death; – On Monday, the Mansfield police identified the individual who succumbed to injuries in a hospital after being shot multiple times as 18-year-old Ja’myrion Hobbs.

Officers arrived at the vicinity of 256 South Main Street following reports of a shooting and discovered Hobbs situated between two residences with numerous gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he was subsequently declared deceased. Authorities did not disclose the timing of the shooting incident.

“We have received a multitude of tips from the community and encourage this to persist,” the police stated on Monday. “According to the information received, detectives suspect that several individuals were involved. Investigators are diligently working to confirm the accuracy of each tip while examining evidence gathered from various search warrants.”

On Sunday, law enforcement indicated that the shooting did not seem to be a “random act.”

“This incident marks the first homicide in Mansfield for the year 2025. We continue to emphasize the significance of community support in this investigation,” the police remarked.
