Mario Alejandro Perez Santos Obituary, Death; – The Allegheny County Police are conducting an investigation following the discovery of a deceased man and an injured individual within a residence in West Mifflin on Saturday night.

Authorities were summoned to the property located on Thompson Run Road to perform a welfare check shortly before 11 p.m. on Saturday.

As stated in a criminal complaint, upon their arrival, officials found 20-year-old Andy-Steven Nimajuan-Sitan with lacerations on both hands.

Another individual was also located with several wounds and was declared dead at the scene.

Nimajuan-Sitan was transported to the hospital and subsequently consented to speak with law enforcement, as per the complaint. He informed officials that he and the deceased had cohabited and had spent the day consuming alcohol prior to engaging in a dispute.

According to his statement to the police, as noted in the complaint, the other man then drew a knife and assaulted him.

The medical examiner was subsequently summoned to the location. The complaint indicated that the victim was later identified as Mario Alejandro Perez Santos.

Nimajuan-Sitan has been charged with criminal homicide in relation to the incident after discussions with the district attorney’s office.

He is currently in custody at the Allegheny County Jail awaiting a preliminary arraignment.

Law enforcement officials have stated that there is no danger to the public and that “all parties involved are accounted for” as the investigation proceeds.
