Steven T Belmain Obituary, Death; – One person was killed and two others injured in a fire Monday in the Aroostook County town of Washburn, according to the Maine Department of Public Safety.

The fire at 61 Brook Side Circle was reported shortly after midnight on Aug. 18, according to Maine State Police Lt. Aaron M. Turcotte.

First responders arrived to find a mobile home in flames. Two people were transported to AR Gould Hospital in Presque Isle with injuries. “A male subject was later discovered deceased in the fire,” Turcotte said in a press release.

He is tentatively identified as Steven T. Belmain, 62, of Washburn. “The initial investigation shows that the use of a generator in the entryway of the structure caused the fire,” Turcotte said.
