Thomas Smith III Obituary, Death; – Three men, all aged 19, have been charged following the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man in Millville, Cumberland County, New Jersey, on Friday, August 15, 2025, according to officials.

The incident took place at approximately 6:53 p.m. at the intersection of High and Oak streets, as reported by officials.

Upon the arrival of law enforcement at the location, they discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head, officials stated.

The victim, identified as Thomas Smith III, succumbed to his injuries shortly after the police’s arrival, officials confirmed.

The three individuals charged in connection with Smith’s death are all 19 years old.

Jequise R. Forrest, a resident of Millville, Alonzo Mincey from Vineland, and Jerramiah Michael of Bridgeton, have all been charged with first-degree murder along with several other offenses, according to officials.
