Palm Harbor, FL – The Palm Harbor community is mourning the loss of Rob McNaull, a retired firefighter and paramedic whose life was defined by service, courage, and compassion. Rob passed away on August 2, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was 53.

Rob’s journey with Palm Harbor Fire Rescue began as a young fire explorer, a role that sparked his lifelong dedication to public service. In 1998, he officially joined the department, where he would go on to serve nearly two decades until his retirement in 2017. Throughout his career, Rob’s steady presence, expertise, and commitment to teamwork left a lasting impact on both colleagues and the wider community.

As both a firefighter and paramedic, Rob saved countless lives and provided calm reassurance in moments of crisis. Beyond his professional skill, he was admired for his leadership, mentorship, and unwavering support for his fellow first responders. His fire service family recalls him as someone who not only worked tirelessly in the line of duty but also fostered camaraderie, lifting up those around him with humor, encouragement, and kindness.

To honor his memory, All First Responders Matter will host a breakfast gathering on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Keke’s Breakfast Cafe, 30541 US Hwy 19N, Palm Harbor, FL. The event will bring together family, friends, and members of the fire service to celebrate Rob’s life and legacy.
