Shawn Michael Cernik,Tion James Williams Obituary, Death; – The Amarillo police have confirmed the identities of the two motorcyclists who lost their lives in a crash on Saturday.

According to the police, the deceased individuals are identified as 50-year-old Shawn Michael Cernik and 47-year-old Tion James Williams. Officers arrived at the intersection of SE 3rd and Lakeside Drive at approximately 8:00 p.m. to respond to an incident involving two motorcycles.

Witnesses reported to the police that both motorcycles were heading east on SE 3rd at a considerable speed. One motorcycle reportedly lost control, leading it to swerve in front of the other. The collision occurred, resulting in both riders being ejected from their motorcycles.

The police have stated that neither rider was wearing a helmet, and both succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
