BRADENTON, Fla. — Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting that claimed the life of 15-year-old Kayvon Dunbar. The incident occurred late Monday night, August 25, in the 400 block of 11th Avenue East.

Bradenton Police responded to the scene at 11:28 p.m., where they found Dunbar suffering from a gunshot wound outside a residence. Officers immediately began administering first aid, but he was pronounced dead at a local hospital early Tuesday morning.
