CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities have arrested a mother and son following a shooting incident at the Ramsey Grove Apartments on Flint Street on Monday, August 25, 2025.

According to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the scene around 5:25 p.m. and found a victim who was immediately transported to a hospital for treatment. An active investigation was launched on-site.

Through their investigation, sheriff’s deputies were able to identify and locate the suspects involved. Arrested were 19-year-old Jomarrion Tymire Pollock and 34-year-old Ericka Pollock Thomas.

Jomarrion Pollock faces charges including:

Attempted murder

Possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime

Ericka Pollock Thomas was charged with:

Accessory after the fact to a felony

Intimidation of court officials, jurors, or witnesses

Both suspects are currently in custody at the Chester County Detention Center. Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing.
