It doesn’t seem real—another beautiful soul gone way too soon. Our dear friend, Elaina Buckland, passed away unexpectedly, leaving a void in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Elaina was a proud graduate of Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she made lasting friendships and built the foundation of the compassionate and loving person she would become.

Throughout her life, Elaina remained a devoted friend, partner, and mother. Since June 14, 2025, she had been in a loving relationship with Ben Berger, who was an important part of her life and shared in many of her happiest moments.

Elaina was a devoted mother to her beloved daughter, Maddi, and her love for her child knew no bounds. Her priorities always centered around Maddi, ensuring that her daughter had a safe, loving, and happy environment.

Maddi’s life has been forever shaped by her mother’s devotion, guidance, and unwavering support. Losing Elaina is a heartbreak that Maddi, along with all of Elaina’s family and friends, will feel deeply every day.

Elaina had a remarkable ability to make those around her feel seen, appreciated, and loved. She always put others before herself, whether it was lending an ear to a friend in need, volunteering her time, or simply offering a warm smile to brighten someone’s day.
