His sudden departure has left colleagues, friends, and neighbors in shock, mourning the loss of a bright and vibrant life gone too soon.

Pratik was more than a professional in his field; he was a warm, kind, and caring individual who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Known for his hard work, dedication, and friendly demeanor, he brought joy and positivity to the Microsoft team and the Mountain View community.

Outside of work, he was a passionate soccer enthusiast, often sharing his love for the sport with friends and neighbors. His presence, both in the workplace and in the community, was a source of light, and his absence is deeply felt.

The circumstances surrounding Pratik’s death remain under investigation. He was found on Microsoft premises in the early hours, between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m., late Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Concerns have been raised regarding the timing of the notification of his passing, as Microsoft informed the public approximately 42 hours later, prompting calls for a thorough inquiry.

The District Attorney, Jeff Rosen, has been requested to oversee a full investigation to ensure transparency and clarity regarding this heartbreaking event.

As a community, we stand united in grief, extending our thoughts and prayers to Pratik’s parents and family in India, who are awaiting the return of their beloved son to perform his final rites.

I, along with others, am coordinating closely with local officials, the funeral home, and the Indian Consulate to expedite all necessary procedures. Every measure is being taken to ensure that his family can receive him soon and find the peace and closure they deserve.
