Wilson Garcia-Rodriguez Arrested; – A Mobile man is facing an assault charge following a stabbing incident.

Wilson Garcia-Rodriguez, aged 25, was processed into the Mobile County Metro Jail on Wednesday and charged with second-degree assault.

According to the Mobile Police Department, multiple individuals flagged down officers at approximately 7:42 p.m. on Wednesday in the vicinity of Airport Boulevard and Florida Street. Officers discovered that one individual was suffering from a stab wound. Authorities reported that the victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

The MPD stated that further investigation indicated the stabbing occurred in the 600 block of Glenwood Street, where officers were able to identify and apprehend the suspect. Garcia-Rodriguez is scheduled for a bond hearing on Friday, as indicated by jail records.
