Isshan Trowsdell Obituary, Death; Homicide victim identified in ‘non-intentional shooting between family members’

Isshan Trowsdell Obituary, Death;- Columbus police have identified the individual who was fatally shot during a family dispute over the weekend.

Authorities report that 24-year-old Is’shan Trowsdell succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, four days after being shot in the early hours of August 24.

Officers responded to the 300 block of East 1st Avenue before 5 a.m. on August 24, where they discovered two adults with gunshot wounds. Is’shan Trowsdell was taken to the hospital in critical condition, while the other individual received treatment and was subsequently released.

Investigators characterized the event as “a non-intentional shooting involving family members.” No charges have been filed at this time, and police indicated that they will forward the case to the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office.
