Jody Travelpiece Obituary, Death; – A fatal incident occurred on Friday when a dump truck overturned while being driven by an individual.

As reported by the Pennsylvania State Police, the accident took place on State Route 6, close to Rummerfield Road in Standing Stone Township, around noon. The driver has been identified as Jody Travelpiece, a 57-year-old resident of Benton, Pennsylvania.

Travelpiece was operating the dump truck westbound on Route 6, carrying a substantial load of stone, when the front passenger tire left the roadway. Authorities indicate that he overcorrected the steering, resulting in the truck overturning onto its driver’s side and coming to a halt in the center of the road.

Emergency responders reported that Travelpiece was trapped inside the vehicle and was found unresponsive upon their arrival at the scene. He was subsequently extricated from the truck and pronounced dead at the location of the accident.
