MILWAUKEE, Wis. — The Milwaukee Police Department has identified the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday night as 22-year-old Keith Davis.

The incident was reported around 9:28 p.m. on August 30 near 61st Street and Congress Street. Responding officers discovered Davis suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing as they work to determine who was responsible. At this time, police have not released details about potential suspects or a possible motive.
