Dantrail Reese Obituary, Death; – Three individuals lost their lives in two separate accidents on Sunday morning along the Ohio Turnpike in Erie County.

The first incident occurred at approximately 6:40 a.m., just east of the Frailey Road overpass.

A truck, operated by a man from Indianapolis, veered off the road and collided with a tow truck that was stationary on the shoulder with its emergency lights activated, as reported by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The passenger of the truck involved in the collision, identified as 32-year-old Dantrail Reese, also from Indianapolis, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tow truck was outside the vehicle at the time of the incident and sustained no injuries.

The second accident transpired due to the traffic congestion resulting from the initial crash.

Shortly after 7:30 a.m., law enforcement officials reported that a Toyota Sienna struck the rear of a Peterbilt 389 tractor-tanker combination.

Both the driver and passenger of the Toyota Sienna were declared dead at the scene. Their identities have not yet been disclosed. The truck driver was unharmed.

That segment of the Ohio Turnpike was closed for approximately three hours this morning.

Investigations into both accidents are ongoing.
