Daquarius Wallace Arrested; – The Brunswick Police Department has announced that a 14-year-old girl was shot and killed inside a residence on Saturday evening. According to police, at approximately 8 P.M., officers arrived at the house located on Altima Avenue in response to a report of a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

During the preliminary investigation, authorities indicated that an “acquaintance” within the home had shot the victim. Two individuals were apprehended at the scene and have since been transferred into the custody of the Glynn County Sheriff’s Office.

The “acquaintance” has been identified as Daquarius Wallace, 17, who police allege was mishandling the firearm. He faces charges including:

Murder and cruelty to children in the second degree
Possession of a firearm by a person under 18
Reckless conduct.
The second suspect, aged 21, is facing charges of:

Cruelty to children in the second degree
Theft by receiving stolen property
Reckless conduct
Contributing to the delinquency of a minor
