Mary Sparks Obituary, Death;- A woman has tragically lost her life following a multi-vehicle accident in Bossier Parish.

Mary Sparks, a 56-year-old resident of Shreveport, was fatally injured in a collision on Louisiana Highway 3 near Aldren Bridge Loop on Sunday, August 31. The Louisiana State Police reported that officers arrived at the scene at approximately 4:30 a.m.

Sparks was traveling north on Louisiana Highway 3 while another driver was proceeding south on the same road. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances that led to Sparks crossing the centerline and colliding with the other vehicle. At the time of the accident, she was wearing her seatbelt, but unfortunately, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police do not believe that Sparks was under the influence during the incident; however, toxicology samples have been collected and sent for analysis.
