Lyn Lagergren Obituary, Death; – A woman has lost her life, and another is in critical condition following a hike on a trail in southern Arizona this past Saturday.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department reported that on August 30, they received notifications regarding two hikers who may have sustained injuries on the Linda Vista hiking trail at 1:45 p.m.

Upon arrival, search and rescue teams discovered the hikers a short distance from one another. One of the individuals, 53-year-old Lyn Lagergren, was declared deceased at the scene. The other hiker was transported to a medical facility.

The cause of Lagergren’s death remains undetermined. The identity of the second hiker has not been disclosed. The sheriff’s department has not provided any additional information regarding the incident.

“No suspicious circumstances were observed, and the investigation is still in progress,” stated the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
