Henry Jamari Obituary, Death; – A man has died following a shooting incident that occurred on Monday in front of 686 Allerton Ave., according to police reports. After discharging their firearms, the assailants attempted to flee in a vehicle but crashed shortly thereafter.

Gunfire erupted just minutes after 7:30 p.m. Upon the arrival of law enforcement, they discovered a 27-year-old individual who had been shot in the left foot, along with a 21-year-old and a 25-year-old who sustained gunshot wounds to their arms. Additionally, another 27-year-old was grazed in the leg. Fortunately, all four victims are anticipated to make complete recoveries; however, 24-year-old Henry Jamari succumbed to his injuries after being shot multiple times and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.

Authorities report that they successfully recovered three firearms at the scene. Following the gunfire, the suspects attempted to escape in a vehicle, which ultimately resulted in a crash just a few blocks from the shooting site. A 24-year-old man sustained injuries in the crash and is currently considered a person of interest while he recuperates.

At this time, police have several individuals in custody for questioning at the 49th Precinct, and the investigation is still active.
