Nicky Perez Obituary, Death; – On Tuesday, the police in New Haven identified one of the two individuals who lost their lives after their vehicle collided with a tree and subsequently caught fire in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The deceased man has been identified as 40-year-old Nicky Perez, who authorities believe was operating the vehicle at the time of the incident when it struck a tree and ignited in flames near the intersection of Ella T. Grasso Boulevard and Adeline Street at approximately 2:50 a.m.
He was taken to a hospital by a private vehicle but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries, as reported by the police.

Additionally, a female found deceased in the back of the vehicle has been tentatively identified; however, the police have stated that they are awaiting confirmation from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner before publicly disclosing her identity.
