MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Police have identified the victim in a deadly weekend shooting as 26-year-old Dennis Hall, Jr., of Montgomery.

The incident happened around 2:16 a.m. Saturday in the 3500 block of Carter Hill Road.

When officers and fire medics arrived, they found Hall suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say this marks the city’s 44th homicide of the year.

Montgomery police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
