It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of James Scott, affectionately known as ‘Jim,’ a beloved resident of Pennsylvania. Jim peacefully left us at Calvary Hospital in Wagga Wagga on Monday, September 1st, 2025, at the age of 86. His departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of family, friends, and the community he cherished.
Jim was a devoted husband of sixty-six years to his beloved wife, Belle. His love and commitment to his family were evident in every aspect of his life. He was a caring father to Linda and Jack, and a proud father-in-law to Suzanne and Craig. Jim’s love extended to his grandchildren—Judith, Rodney, James, Veronica, and five great-grandchildren—whose lives he enriched with his kindness and wisdom. He loved his siblings Fay and Len, and was a cherished brother-in-law to Jill, Bob, Carol, and Alan, always supporting and guiding his family with warmth and strength.
Born in 1939, Jim’s life was marked by dedication, love, and resilience. He was a caring uncle to his nieces and nephews, and a friend to many in his community. Jim’s gentle nature and unwavering kindness made him a respected and beloved figure wherever he went. His legacy is one of compassion, loyalty, and the importance of family bonds.
A service celebrating Jim’s life will be held at the Ganmain Lawn Cemetery on Saturday, September 6th, 2025, beginning at 11:00 a.m. His family invites relatives and friends to join in honoring his memory, sharing stories, and paying their respects. Jim’s life was a testament to the power of love and the importance of cherishing those around us.
As we say goodbye to Jim, we remember the joy he brought into our lives and the positive impact he made on everyone he met. His gentle spirit and loving heart will continue to inspire us all. We extend our deepest condolences to his wife Belle, his children, grandchildren, and all family members during this difficult time.
