Skyler Norman Obituary, Death; – One person was killed after being struck by a tractor-trailer at a gas station just north of Fremont Thursday evening.

A release from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched to the Sapp Bros. travel center just before 6:45 p.m. Thursday.

Once on the scene, deputies determined that a pedestrian, identified as 70-year-old Skyler Norman of Gem, Kansas, was struck by a tractor trailer near the fuel island.

Norman was transported to the hospital from the scene, where he died from his injuries.

The incident is still under investigation by the DCSO with the assistance of the Nebraska State Patrol.
