Clinton, CT — The Connecticut community is mourning the loss of Nicholas John “Nick” Kupec, 39, of Waterford, who died Friday morning in a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 95, triggered by plywood sheets that fell from a tractor-trailer. The tragic chain-reaction crash occurred around 7:42 a.m. near Exit 64 in Clinton, according to the Connecticut State Police.

Investigators report that a northbound tractor-trailer lost a large number of plywood sheets, which scattered across the southbound lanes of I-95.
