Ahmyiah Iman Pinkney Obituary, Death; – A 24-year-old woman has been discovered deceased from a gunshot wound at a prestigious resort in Napa Valley.

Ahmyiah Iman Pinkney, hailing from Sacramento, California, was found dead in a room at the opulent Bardessono Hotel and Spa in Yountville on Thursday morning.

The Napa County Sheriff’s Office has classified the death as ‘suspicious.’

Police were alerted to a possible shooting via a 911 call at 7:20 AM, at which point officers located Pinkney’s lifeless body, as reported by the sheriff’s office.

Her mother, Tashauna Pinkney, informed the Daily Mail that she was uncertain about the number of individuals present in the hotel room with her daughter, but confirmed there was at least one other person.

The sheriff’s office issued a statement indicating that there is no known threat to the public. No further details regarding Pinkney’s death or any potential suspects have been disclosed.

Pinkney was a recent honors graduate from the University of California, Davis.

Alain Negueloua, the general manager of Bardessono, stated that police were already on-site after he was notified of the emergency, according to the Yountville Sun.
A representative for the Bardessono Hotel released a statement on Friday, saying: ‘We are fully cooperating with the Napa County Sheriff’s Office in their investigation of yesterday’s incident, in which one of two guests sharing a room was found deceased.’

The Bardessono Hotel and Spa is a luxury resort in wine country, renowned for its upscale amenities, including in-suite spa treatments, a farm-to-table restaurant, and rooftop pools.

The exclusive hotel, which has been featured in Vogue and Forbes Travel Guide, describes the resort as a ‘pioneering Napa Valley’s spa-suite concept, bringing tailored spa experiences to the privacy of guests’ own rooms.’

According to its website, room rates begin at approximately $1,000 per night. The hotel remains open despite the shooting incident.

The sheriff’s office has stated that additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
