RENO, Nev. (Sept. 8, 2025) — A shooting at the Inova Apartments in Reno has reportedly left one person dead, according to early accounts.

Initial information came through local residents and was later supported by traffic on police scanners, which indicated multiple shots were fired at the apartment complex. One fatality has been reported, though authorities have not officially confirmed the number of victims or released any names.

“I heard it from my sister first, then started listening to the scanner — it sounded like there were multiple shots, and someone didn’t make it,” said one Reno resident.
