Terence Sistrunk Obituary, Death;- The Bessemer police department is currently conducting an investigation into a homicide that took place over the weekend.

The victim has been identified by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office as Terence Sistrunk, aged 54, from Birmingham.

According to the coroner’s office, Sistrunk was fatally shot during an assault that occurred late Saturday night on Owen Avenue. Information regarding the circumstances that led to the shooting has not yet been disclosed.

As of now, no suspect or motive has been announced.
