Dylan Channell Obituary, Death;- The 17-year-old male who lost his life on September 7 in a single-vehicle accident in Green has been identified as Dylan Channell, a resident of Green, as confirmed by Gary Guenther from the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Deputies initially arrived at the crash site around 2 a.m. Investigators found that Channell, who was operating a 2011 Suzuki Kizashi traveling south on South Arlington Road, lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road, and entered a ditch before rolling over multiple times.

Channell, the only occupant of the vehicle, suffered severe injuries and passed away after being taken to Summa Health Akron.

At the time of the accident, he was not wearing a seatbelt, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol indicated that alcohol may have played a role in the incident.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
