Jan Figueroa Obituary, Death; – A teenager was fatally shot following a double shooting incident near NoDa in northeast Charlotte early Sunday morning, as reported by the police.

The deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Jan Figueroa on Tuesday, September 9. Another individual, whose identity remains undisclosed, was also shot and transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

As of the current update, no arrests have been made.
The shooting is said to have occurred around 2:45 a.m. on Sunday, September 7, along Atando Avenue close to North Tryon Street.

Officers indicated that they responded to the location after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered that Figueroa and another individual had sustained gunshot wounds.

Paramedics declared Figueroa deceased at the scene of the incident, while the other victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The present condition of that individual is not known.
Reports have indicated that a third person sought medical attention at the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
