We honor the memory of Isaiah Caldwell, a talented athlete, a cherished son, and a beloved member of the Fort Dodge community. Isaiah’s life was full of passion, kindness, and a spirit that touched everyone around him. His tragic passing in a motorcycle accident leaves a void that words cannot fully express.

Isaiah was more than just a name on a roster. He was a key part of the 2015 St. Paul Saints Tug of War championship team, showcasing his strength and determination. A 2024 graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High, Isaiah stood out as a first-team all-district football player and a dedicated rugby standout for the Stags. His commitment to sports mirrored his dedication to those who mattered most—his family and friends.

Earlier this summer, I had the privilege of photographing the Caldwell family. Isaiah, like many young men, might not have been eager to spend a summer evening in front of a camera. Yet, he showed up willingly because it meant so much to his mom to have memories of her boys together. That evening revealed Isaiah’s true character—kind, genuine, and filled with a great sense of humor that made the session not just easy, but joyful. From that moment, it was clear to see why those who knew Isaiah loved him deeply.

Isaiah’s warmth and humor were gifts he shared freely with everyone he encountered. His presence brightened rooms, his laughter lifted spirits, and his genuine kindness left lasting impressions. It’s these qualities that will be remembered and cherished by all who were lucky enough to know him.
