Gracie Raelen Gill Obituary, Death;- A young girl who tragically passed away last week when her mother’s vehicle collided with a dam in northern NSW has been named.

Raelen Gill was traveling with her 11-year-old daughter Gracie on September 11, near Tenterfield in the New England region of NSW when their black SUV struck a tree before sinking into a dam off the Bruxner Highway.

Both individuals were retrieved from the water. Gracie received treatment from paramedics but unfortunately died at the scene, while her mother was transported to Tenterfield Hospital.
Dr. Gill’s friend, Rebecca McGoldrick, initiated a GoFundMe campaign on Sunday to collect funds for Gracie’s funeral on behalf of her mother.

“As a community of friends, family, and supporters, we aim to alleviate some of the financial strain during this heartbreaking time by assisting with funeral and other expenses,” she stated.

Ms. McGoldrick clarified that Dr. Gill, a chiropractor, was unable to access her accounts following the damage to her phone and computer in the accident, indicating that the funds would be directed to her friend once she recuperated.

“I understand that no words or contributions can ever diminish the sorrow of losing a child, but collectively we can demonstrate to her that she is enveloped in love and support,” Ms. McGoldrick expressed.

In less than 24 hours, the fund garnered nearly $10,000 of its $13,000 target.
A member of the local martial arts community, Gracie’s previous school, Takeshi Karate, expressed their sorrow at the news of her passing.

The business took to social media to honor their former student, characterizing her as “caring, unique, kind, and bubbly.”

Messages of support also flooded in on Dr. Gill’s company’s Facebook page, Chiropractic Life Tamworth.

“Thinking of you all and sending so much,” one user commented.

“My heart is aching,” another remarked.

Gracie occasionally featured in videos alongside her mother on the page.
