Richard Newman,Jesus Valdez Obituary, Death; – On Sunday night, two employees were fatally shot at an O’Reilly Auto Parts store in southwest Albuquerque, as confirmed by the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the shooting incident at the O’Reilly Auto Parts, situated at 2712 Sunshine West Plaza Dr. SW, near Coors Boulevard and Blake Road, at approximately 5:12 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered one man deceased, while a second man was transported to a nearby hospital, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.

The BCSO has identified the deceased employees as Richard Newman, aged 47, and Jesus Valdez, aged 18. Authorities have apprehended 27-year-old Ismael Rene Tena, who faces two open counts of murder.
