Upon arrival, officers found that the collision involved a red 2024 Kawasaki ZR9 motorcycle ridden by LaFrance and a white 2021 Toyota Corolla, driven by 23-year-old Melany Espana of Arlington, Texas.

First responders, including Williamson County EMS, Taylor Fire Department, and the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, rushed to the scene. Emergency medical personnel immediately began life-saving measures on LaFrance. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at 6:18 p.m. at the scene.

The driver of the Toyota Corolla, Espana, sustained minor injuries in the crash. She was transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Taylor for treatment. Her injuries were reported as non-life-threatening.
