Michael Peterson Obituary, Death; – Michael Peterson, a 22-year-old resident of Millville, tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident near Frankford on the afternoon of September 18, as reported by the Delaware State Police.

At approximately 4:15 p.m., a Yamaha YZF motorcycle, along with two other mini-motorcycles, was traveling along Camp Barnes Road beyond Estuary Drive. According to police, Peterson, who was operating the Yamaha, attempted to overtake the two mini-motorcycles while crossing a double-yellow line. He subsequently lost control, veered off the road, struck a traffic sign, and was thrown from the motorcycle, as stated by the authorities.

Peterson, who was wearing a full-face helmet at the time, was declared dead at the scene, according to police reports. The road remained closed for roughly two and a half hours.
