DALLAS, TX — Law enforcement officials have identified the deceased shooting suspect as 29-year-old Joshua Jahn following a deadly incident at a federal facility in Dallas on Wednesday. Authorities confirmed that two Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainees were killed, while a third remains in serious condition.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said earlier Wednesday that the suspect turned the gun on themselves after the attack. No law enforcement officers were injured during the incident.

At a press conference, FBI officials disclosed that ammunition recovered near the suspect contained anti-ICE messages, which has intensified concerns about the motive behind the shooting. Investigators are continuing to examine the suspect’s background and possible affiliations.

The facility was placed on lockdown as local, federal, and Homeland Security investigators responded to the scene. Authorities have not released the identities of the victims pending family notification.

Officials say the investigation remains ongoing, with the FBI leading efforts to determine whether the attack was premeditated or tied to broader anti-ICE sentiment.
