Gianni A. Perfetto Obituary – Talented Craftsman Whose Bright Spirit Will Forever Live On

The family and friends of Gianni A. Perfetto are mourning the heartbreaking loss of a beloved young man whose life, though far too short, touched countless hearts. Gianni, 24, of Cranston, Rhode Island, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025, at RI Hospital in Providence. His passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

Born in Warwick, Rhode Island, Gianni was the cherished and devoted son of Jasmine D. Fuller and the stepson of David Bouchard of Cranston. Family meant everything to Gianni, and he was deeply loved by his grandparents, Lester Fuller and his wife Joanne of North Carolina, as well as his paternal grandparents, Anthony and Beverly Perfetto of Johnston.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Colleen Darcy, and his uncle, Anthony Perfetto, Jr., whose memories remained close to his heart. Gianni is also survived by a large extended family, including his aunt Annmarie Picozzi-Carson of Warwick; his uncles David Picozzi of Warwick, Kenneth Picozzi, Jr. of Swansea, and Brandon Fuller of Warwick, along with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever cherish his memory.

Gianni grew up in Cranston and graduated from Cranston West High School, where he was known for his friendly nature, sense of humor, and strong work ethic. He continued his education at the Community College of Rhode Island and later earned a diploma in Cyber Security from the University of Phoenix, demonstrating his curiosity and dedication to lifelong learning.

A gifted carpenter and mason, Gianni had a passion for building and creating. His craftsmanship was evident in every project he worked on, whether it was restoring an old structure, constructing something new, or helping friends and family with projects around the home.

His attention to detail, patience, and pride in his work made him a respected and trusted craftsman. More than his skill, though, it was Gianni’s willingness to help others and his humble nature that set him apart.

Those who knew Gianni best will remember him for his kind heart, contagious smile, and generous spirit. He had an innate ability to make those around him feel valued and loved. Whether he was spending time with family, hanging out with friends, or simply sharing a laugh, Gianni’s warmth and positivity left a lasting impression.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Gianni’s life will be held on Tuesday, September 30th at 11 a.m. at the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Gianni’s memory to The Tomorrow Fund, 593 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02903, an organization dedicated to supporting children with cancer and their families.

Though Gianni’s time with us was far too brief, his memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones. He will be remembered for the joy he brought to life, the love he gave so freely, and the beautiful legacy he leaves behind. His light will continue to shine in the memories of all who were lucky enough to know him.
