Terrance Wallette Obituary, Death; – One of the two men shot and killed near Chase Middle School on Spokane’s South Hill last week has been identified.
According to the Spokane County Medical Examiner, 37-year-old Terrance Wallette died from multiple gunshot wounds on Wednesday, September 24.
The medical examiner added that the manner of Wallette’s death was a homicide. The second person who died has not been identified by the medical examiner yet. A third person is also reportedly still in the hospital in critical condition.
According to the Spokane Police Department, the shooting happened at East 34th Avenue near Chase Middle School Wednesday night. SPD said arriving officers found two of the men dead, and the third man “appeared to have sustained life-threatening gunshot wounds.”
Police say they believe the men knew each other. Police said their exact relationship will be determined when the investigation is done.
SPD said it does not appear no one else was injured, and there is no indication of any additional threats to the community.
