This occurred near dawn on Tuesday, in Allegan County, Michigan.

Investigators reported that a collision happened around 7 a.m. at the junction of 46th Street and 140th Avenue, in Overisel Township.

A vehicle going south collided with another going west. The information suggests the southbound driver didn’t stop.

The man driving the involved sedan died at the crash site. He was Austin Kasinger, originally from the Hamilton area.

The woman driving the other vehicle, which was going west, was taken to a hospital for medical attention.

Police believe speeding was a contributing factor to the collision.

Roads near the intersection were temporarily closed for an investigation. They have now been reopened.
