The Madison County Coroner has officially identified the individual who passed away after an accident at Eastern Kentucky University. He was 61-year-old Edwin Burton II from Illinois.

The preliminary investigation indicates Burton was performing work on an air conditioning system located within the basement of Telford Hall on EKU’s Richmond campus.
