It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Maureen Arnold, a beloved wife, mother, friend, colleague, and dedicated servant to her church and community. Maureen’s life was one filled with love, compassion, and service to others, and though she left this world far too soon, her memory will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Maureen bravely battled cancer, a journey that touched many with her courage and resilience. While her passing brings grief and a profound sense of loss, it also allows us to reflect on the many ways she poured herself into the lives of her family, friends, coworkers, and church community.

A longtime friend and colleague to many at Harford Mutual, Maureen will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and steady friendship. She was not only a trusted professional but also a source of encouragement and positivity in the workplace.

Her colleagues recall her as someone who always found the good in people and situations, a reminder that life is too short not to pursue happiness and cherish the people we love.

Maureen’s generosity extended far beyond her professional life. She was a devoted supporter and active participant in the mission work of Bethel Presbyterian Church, where she left a lasting mark through her commitment to helping others.

She personally organized and led annual coat drives, collecting donations at her own home before ensuring they reached those in need. She also started a summer book-bag collection for children and consistently brought members of her office team to volunteer alongside her during food bag distributions.

If Maureen ever discovered that Bethel’s food shelves were empty, she wasted no time making calls and rallying support to replenish them. Her energy and determination reflected her unwavering belief that no one should go without basic needs.

Her work extended to fostering connections between churches, such as her bond with members of the Doylestown Presbyterian community, where she continued to build bridges of service and compassion.

Maureen was also deeply loved within her own family circle. She shared a beautiful marriage with her husband Scott, and together they raised two sons, Ben and Colin, whose lives are a testament to their parents’ love and guidance. Maureen was also blessed with a daughter-in-law and extended family who will forever carry her in their hearts.

Her friends and loved ones describe Maureen as having “the spirit of an angel.” Her compassion, warmth, and joyful energy uplifted everyone she met. She modeled a life of service, faith, and love—qualities that will continue to shine through the countless lives she touched.

As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate a life well-lived, one that embodied kindness, faith, and the joy of giving. Maureen Arnold will be remembered not only for what she accomplished but for the way she made people feel—valued, cared for, and loved.
