MILFORD, PA — The Milford community and the North Pocono School District are grieving the tragic loss of Reagan May, a 15-year-old student and Junior Firefighter, who passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 2, 2025.
Reagan was remembered as a beloved daughter, classmate, teammate, and friend, whose kindness and energy left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Known for her bright smile and dedication to both her education and service, she was deeply admired by her peers and mentors alike.
The Milford Fire Department & EMS, Station 33, shared a heartfelt tribute following the news of her passing:
“It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Junior Firefighter Reagan May. Please keep Reagan, and the entire May family, in your thoughts and prayers.”
Reagan was declared deceased after a tragic incident that has left her mother and loved ones heartbroken. Details surrounding the incident have not yet been released publicly.
Friends and classmates have also expressed their grief, sharing stories of her vibrant spirit. Jordan Hughes, a close friend, wrote:
“To know Reagan was to love Reagan. This squirt and I were pals from the get. Seven years of friendship and so many beautiful memories of an amazing kid turned young woman.
