It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brandon Shea, 43, of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on the evening of Saturday, October 19, 2025. The accident occurred at the intersection of Route 30 and Wimmerton Boulevard, a location that has seen multiple recent crashes and continues to be a growing concern for the community.
Emergency responders were called to the scene around 6:20 p.m., after a vehicle struck Brandon’s motorcycle while attempting to turn left onto Route 30. Brandon was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision and was quickly transported to the hospital. Despite the efforts of first responders and medical staff, he sadly succumbed to his injuries.
Brandon was a well-known and respected member of the Mount Pleasant community—someone who lived life with integrity, grit, and a strong sense of loyalty to those he loved. Friends describe him as a genuine, down-to-earth man who enjoyed riding, working with his hands, and sharing a laugh with those around him. He was deeply loved by family and friends alike, and his sudden passing leaves a void that words cannot begin to fill.
The news of Brandon’s death has shaken many, especially those who unknowingly passed through the accident scene on Saturday evening—only to learn later that it had claimed the life of someone from their own community. His passing is also a painful reminder of the ongoing traffic safety concerns along Route 30, particularly at the Wimmerton intersection.
