Victor Reyes Jr Obituary, Death; – The Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office has identified the individual who passed away as Victor Reyes Jr., aged 28, from Reedley.

Authorities reported that a 28-year-old man from Reedley lost his life on Sunday morning in a head-on collision that occurred west of Navalencia Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place at approximately 8:35 a.m. on American Avenue when the man’s 2016 Acura TLX crossed into the path of an eastbound 2022 Ram Thor camper van.

The front end of the Acura struck the camper van head-on, resulting in the Acura spinning and coming to a halt on the south shoulder, while the camper van came to a stop in the eastbound lane, as stated by the CHP.

The driver of the Acura was declared dead at the scene. The camper van’s driver, a 62-year-old man from Manhattan Beach, suffered moderate injuries.

A 62-year-old female passenger, who was asleep in the rear of the camper and not wearing a seatbelt, was propelled forward. Her condition has not been immediately reported.

Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts, and investigators indicated that alcohol or drugs do not seem to have played a role in the incident.
