Brandon Grimes Obituary, Death; – A shooting incident at an intersection in Mt. Healthy on Tuesday night has resulted in the death of one man.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched shortly after 8:40 p.m. to the intersection of Lakenoll Drive and Hamilton Avenue following a report of a man who had been shot.

This intersection is located near the exit from State Route 126/Ronald Reagan Highway.

Officials report that upon arrival, deputies found the victim, identified as 22-year-old Brandon Grimes, suffering from a gunshot wound inside a vehicle.

Deputies state that Grimes was promptly transported to UC Medical Center for emergency medical care; however, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

In light of the seriousness of the incident, the city of Mt. Healthy has requested the support of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Section.

Officials indicate that their investigation into the shooting remains ongoing. No details regarding a possible suspect have been disclosed.
