A 24-year-old man has died after being shot and subsequently hit by a car in the Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
Police responded to the 6900 block of Wiltsie Street around 10:30 p.m. following reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers discovered Stanley Howe Jr. lying in the street with gunshot wounds to his chest and leg. Witnesses informed police that Howe was struck by a vehicle shortly after being shot.
Officers administered first aid at the scene, but Howe was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
The Pittsburgh Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner officially identified the victim on Tuesday.
